- Technical training (i.e. graduate of Animal Health/Veterinary Technician or equivalent program, and certified as MVMA/MAVT technician) Supervisory experience within a veterinary care or similar health care related environment.
- Must be able to restrain and handle large animals and/or assist with large animal restraint and handling.
- Participate in the on call rotation schedule Must be able to jog horses Performs record-keeping tasks related to medical procedures, including recording of: procedures completed, supplies used, patient status, client communications, census information, etc.
- Fill in open shifts Anesthetize, monitor, and treat anesthesia patients (including equine, bovine, canine, feline, caprine/ovine and occasionally exotics) as needed.
- 5% - Additional duties as assigned The Veterinary Medical Center (VMC) has served the community for more than a century.
