Our Laborer performs tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. This includes preparing construction sites, assisting with various labor tasks, operating hand tools, power tools, and other equipment, and performing other duties as assigned.
Travel for extended periods of time- 4 weeks on, I week off
Walk long distances, up and down steeply slop ed landfills and outdoor terrain
Ability to do heavy , manual work
Lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a non-consistent basis
Work in extreme (hot and cold) weather conditions safely including on very odorous project sites
Clean up work areas, clean and fuel vehicles/equipment as necessary
Operate general s ite vehicles and equipment, such as pickup trucks, and smaller equipment
Available to work overtime and weekends if necessary
Not required but preferred
Comfortable working near and around heavy equipment
Landfill gas experience
Comfortable driving trucks and trailers
Overall general construction experience
Oil and Gas pipeline experience
Assist site supervisors with the materials and equipment needs and helping to collect supplies for projects
Perform system construction activities in a safe and proper manner
Fuse HDPE pipe ranging from 2"-36"
$14.00-$20.00 per HR pending experience
