This position is responsible for every aspect of the product from start to finish, implementing strict, predetermined procedures and protocol. Successful candidates need to be able to work well in a team-oriented environment to accomplish the company's strategic initiatives while providing excellent service to our many internal and external customers. We are actively seeking Fermentation Technicians for the following opening(s): Monday - Thursday (4/10s): Evening Shift (2pm-12:30am) - Full time hours with a 3 day weekend! ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li>Make finished (flavored) kombucha according to predetermined recipes.</li><li>Works in compliance with Food Safety Management System and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).</li><li>Adhere to Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards.</li><li>Perform brewing operations according to current operational procedures.</li><li>Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and work areas.</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement projects in brewing.</li><li>Complete daily interdepartmental checklist, check ins and report outs .</li><li>Maintain accurate, thorough and up to date tracking records of all brewing processes.</li><li>Perform daily quality assurance and quality control checks on fermenting, raw and finished kombucha.</li><li>Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events and react well under pressure.</li><li>Perform working compliance with following safety policies within the Humm Kombucha safety manual</li><li>All other duties as assigned</li></ul> HUMM-STER RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li>Champion the company culture and values</li><li>Embrace, practice and support Humm policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices</li><li>Maintain constructive working relationships with employees and other department heads</li><li>Being part of the Win</li></ul> COMPENSATION: Wages: The starting wage for this role depends on your previous experience. Base wages when joining this team start at $19.50/hour for candidates with less direct brewing or fermentation experience.
