- High School diploma or GED (two or more years of college course work in child/adolescent behavior is preferred) and three or more years of experience working with youth in a juvenile detention facility or related area, including training in self-defense techniques and crisis intervention mediation, and one year lead or supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Certification.
- Assists with the daily operation of the Fulton County Juvenile detention facility.
- Ensures compliance with all policies/procedures in order to promote a safe, secure, and humane environment for residents and staff.
- Assists with juvenile behavioral health issues while in custody.
