Your expertise and technical skills will be essential in delivering high-quality service and ensuring the utmost safety and protection of our customers' assets.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain security and fire systems, including access control, intrusion detection, fire alarms, surveillance cameras, and other related equipment.</li><li>Conduct site visits and inspections to assess client requirements, identify potential issues, and recommend appropriate security and fire system solutions.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop and implement system designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.</li><li>Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, providing exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Perform system programming, configuration, and integration tasks to ensure optimal system performance and functionality.</li><li>Conduct system testing, verification, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.</li><li>Train clients and end-users on the proper operation and maintenance of security and fire systems.</li><li>Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations to provide informed recommendations and deliver innovative solutions to clients.</li><li>Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to mitigate risks and maintain a safe working environment.</li><li>Complete accurate and detailed documentation, including work orders, service reports, and inventory records.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements, share knowledge, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Journeyman or equivalent certification in the electrical or electronics field is required.</li><li>Proven experience (4+ years) in the installation, maintenance, and repair of security and fire systems.</li><li>Solid understanding of security and fire system components, such as control panels, sensors, cameras, access control devices, and alarm systems.</li><li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.</li><li>Strong technical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve system issues efficiently.</li><li>Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), etc.).</li><li>Familiarity with networking principles and protocols, including IP-based systems and integration.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.</li><li>NICET Level II Fire Alarm Systems certified; preferred</li><li>Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites as needed.</li></ul>Join our dynamic team and contribute your skills to create secure environments and protect lives.
