- The Smithsonian Institution is the world’s largest museum, education, and research complex, with 21 museums and the National Zoo. This position is located in the Facilities Management Systems Division (FMSD).
- Office of Systems Modernization (OSM), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).
- The IT Project Manager (APPSW) in conjunction with supported user organizations, designs, develops, tests, implements, modifies and maintains automated information systems that support SI's engineering and facilities management functions.
- Work with technical team and multiple contractors in project management activities including planning, requirements, design, development, configuration, testing, deployment, maintenance and enhancement of complex, advanced technology automated information system (AIS) projects.
- Collaborate with more senior project managers and development teams in determining the exchange of data between facilities management and other enterprise systems/databases using a variety of software development tools, development languages, libraries, and frameworks, which include: - Oracle database- IBM TRIRIGA suite- SQL- XML- HTML5- Javascript- React- CSS- Crystal Reporting- BIRT Reporting.
