- Under moderate supervision, responsible for the delivery of high quality off-air, satellite, and digital transport signals to the outside plant (point of demarcation from ISP facilities) utilizing, maintaining and installing a variety of optical and electrical interfaces including but not limited to coaxial cable, fiber optic transmission, and Ethernet cable.
- Includes the installation, construction, operation and break-fix remediation, with root cause analysis of all equipment, including Critical Infrastructure, associated with the Headend (HE) and data centers.
- Install, configure, and operate legacy or new headend equipment.
- Install, test and maintain DWDM optical passive devices including patch panels, optical couplers, mux/demux and filters utilizing appropriate optical connector handling and cleaning procedures.
- Valid Certifications from the Society of Cable Telecommunication Engineers (SCTE) BTS and BDS which will be required to be obtained within 6 months from date of employment for all external candidates and internal candidates outside of Network Operations
