- Background: Western Area power Administrations statutory mission is to market and deliver cost-based hydroelectric power and related services.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing to a broad range of professionals both within and outside of WAPA. Knowledge of GSA, DOE and WAPA policies and procedures related to the use of government purchase cards sufficient to serve as a GPC holder.
- Make recommendations on procurement, performs research and coordinates for GPC holder on supplies and ensures that all property purchased is accounted.
- Assist and advise the Federal Bureau of Investigation regarding equipment and material thefts and notifies the SNR security officer.
- Consult with SNR Environmental Management Office to assure that appropriate environmental compliance standards are maintained for transportation, inventory, clean-up, storage, disposal and tracking of hazardous materials and waste to, from, or at Elverta Maintenance Facility.
