Our team in Military Aircraft is looking for an Inventory Control - Shipping/Receiving Supervisor to join them. You will report to the Materials Manager and will have an on-site work schedule in Torrance, CA. To be considered for Inventory Control - Shipping/Receiving Supervisor, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you: <ul><li> Bachelor’s Degree and 1-2 years of manufacturing experience. </li><li> Or Associate’s Degree and 5 years of manufacturing experience. </li></ul> As an Inventory Control - Shipping/Receiving Supervisor, you will: <ul><li>Supervise Stockroom Clerks and Shipping/Receiving Clerk. Maintain an efficient work force by selecting, training and motivating competent individuals.</li><li>Ensure the correctness and timeliness of all transactions in the Stockroom, Shop and Shipping/Receiving.</li><li>Reconcile errors as they occur to insure accurate inventory balances and costs.</li><li>Responsible for conducting and participating in external and internal audits including the Annual physical Inventory.</li><li>Responsible for the timely and efficient issuance and receipt of material in support of the Shop, Assembly and Test.</li><li>Support the meeting of production schedules by ensuring timely and efficient movement of in process parts.</li><li>Responsible for effecting revision control of operation sheets and drawings, and coordinating rework activities.</li><li>Responsible for the packaging, storage and care of inventories.</li><li>Maintain traceability of all in-process parts.</li><li>Adhere to the rules governing the handling, storage and tracking of government/customer-owned property.</li><li>Highlight potential problems that could result in production delays and suggest possible solutions to the Material Manager and Shop Supervisor.</li><li>Assure compliance to Moog procedures and legal requirements.</li><li>Coordinate special packaging and shipping requirements for various unique programs.</li><li>Maintain records of receipts, shipments, bills of lading, packing sheets, and shipment log sheets.</li><li>Determine of packaging methods and design of packaging when required to assure safe transit.</li><li>Prepare and file all loss and damage claims against transportation agencies. </li></ul> Our Benefits: <ul><li> Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits on day one </li><li> Flexible planned vacation </li><li> 401K, profit share, and employee stock purchase options </li><li> Tuition reimbursement program </li><li> Inclusive company culture </li><li> Onsite wellness center, pharmacy, and vision center </li><li> Nature trails on campus </li></ul> Salary Range: <ul><li> The base pay range for this opportunity is $67,392 - $95,000 per year. </li></ul> Pay Disclaimer: The base pay range represents the low and high end of the Moog pay range or indicates the hourly rate for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on many factors such as skills, experience, certifications and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
