Inventory Business Analyst

- The primary role of the Inventory Business Analyst is to proactively monitor and analyze buy inventory in a way that addresses up-stream issues in inventory management and strengthens the analytical capacity of the Planning Team. The primary focus will be to ensure ERP system is accurately maintained to improve inventory optimization in order to reduce shortages, maximize production throughput, and prioritize the opportunities which will create the biggest impact to inventory management.
- Develops a working knowledge of end-to-end inventory management, best practices, as-is business process, event participants and triggers, master data management, transactional data management, item lifecycle, including sourcing, stocking, distribution, replenishment, reverse logistics, and/or dispositions and any and all regulatory compliance guidelines and/or ordinances that influence the business process.
- Working knowledge of Power BI a plus.
- APICS Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or commitment to obtain within the first 18 months of employment.
- Experience with rate-based or flow line (non-MRP) and job shop manufacturing environments.
