- Being responsible for the screening of visitors with an X-ray machine and a metal detector.
- Operating access control databases, including the FBI's Phoenix, SOPU Gatekeeper visitor database, Scattered Castles and/or Defense Information System for Security (DISS) verifications as requested.
- Initiating personnel security background investigations and reinvestigations maintaining a detailed record to track the progress of individual cases as well as to provide overall case statistics.
- A Highschool diploma with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in any security related field, such as industrial security, physical security, and computer/network security.
- The ability to provide 24/7 support, which includes accountability in the event of weather storms, disaster relief and non-telework capabilities, when needed.
