- MedStar Georgetown University Hospital’s Division of Hematology Oncology is seeking a qualified nurse practitioner to join our well-established Stem Cell Transplant & Cellular Immunotherapy program in Washington, DC at 3800 Reservoir Road NW. Our program is the region’s only adult, Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT)-accredited program for autologous transplant, allogeneic transplant, and cellular immunotherapy.
- Our research engine, Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, is the only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center in the Washington, D.C. region.
- Round with physicians daily and stay on the unit to execute orders, respond to nursing care needs, and provide basic support to the stem cell transplant and cellular immunotherapy program.
- The NP in this role will be responsible for writing follow-up/subsequent chemotherapy orders, performing bone marrow biopsies.
- The ideal candidate will have a chemotherapy card and inpatient experience as an advanced practice provider.
