- As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, inspecting, testing, repairing, operating and maintaining all types of machines, equipment, structures and facilities in a safe and orderly manner as directed by a Maintenance Supervisor.
- Familiar with the handling, operation and safe use of all types of Mechanical Equipment including hydraulic systems, gearboxes, conveyor equipment, vibrating feeders, hammer mills, cranes, mechanical drives and assorted industrial equipment.
- Tools and equipment used are hand tools, measuring devices, power tools such as drill presses, saws, grinders, breaks, benders, shears, iron workers, pipe cutting and threading equipment, etc.
- Welding, burning and metal joining equipment, hoists, cranes, mobile equipment, test instruments, gauges, equipment ladders, scaffold, hand and power tools common to the trade.
- Perform cutting, welding, brazing and soldering work with metal sheet and plate, including the necessary layout work.
