- The position will be responsible for working with Engineering, Product Stewardship, and EHS personnel to develop, implement, and maintain Ergon's Corporate Industrial Hygiene guidelines, policies, processes, and procedures for all operating facilities (PSM, RMP, and non-regulated).
- Industrial Hygienist Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Toxicology, Engineering, Chemistry Occupational Health and Safety, with an advanced degree being preferred Certification as an Industrial Hygienist (CIH) Five years or more of Industrial Hygiene experience in Oil and Gas or manufacturing preferred Have a passion and drive to start new initiatives Experience in creating and maintaining Health and Industrial Hygiene programs.
- Ability to effectively communicate Health and Industrial Hygiene status, progress, and goals to Senior Management Up to 30% travel Industrial Hygienist Responsibilities: Maintain close working relationships with business unit leaders to assure an ongoing dialog, so that programs meet the intended requirements.
- Provide technical support and assistance to all Ergon, Inc. companies to aid in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Industrial Hygiene practices and programs necessary to insure safe and efficient operation.
- Develop and lead corporate trainings for Health and Industrial Hygiene topics including one-on-one mentoring, if required Lead Ergon's Operational Excellence Health and Industrial Hygiene initiatives Share lessons learned from industry and site events, align with Health and Industrial Hygiene safety best practices, and benchmark where applicable.
