- Work with EHS Officer to support the Lab Safety and Chemical Hygiene programs to evaluate and select controls to prevent hazardous exposures in research/academic environments.
- Hazardous building material management including bulk and air sampling, abatement oversight (asbestos/ACM and lead based paint/LCM), and collaborate with Capital Programs and contractor program management for asbestos, lead-based paint, and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).
- Perform industrial hygiene monitoring and exposure assessments, including hazard exposure assessments and exposure monitoring for potential chemical and physical occupational hazards.
- Develop and maintain environmental and occupational health and safety related programs, manuals, guidelines, and associated web pages to be incorporated into FSC health and safety policy and programs, and/or to FSC's EHS web content.
- Desire to apply expertise in promoting civic engagement with the College's many community partners.
