- Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager or Shift Leader, the Maintenance Electrician will troubleshoot, repair, maintain and improve electrical / automation systems with the intent of improving uptime and efficiency.
- Recognize different components, able to troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and process issues •Electrical: Component Replacements, able to find and substitute basic electrical parts (Contacts, relays, breakers, motors, wiring for three phases, VFDs, able to recognize I/O card or component issue, voltage issues, and other electrical components.
- Actively participates/contributes on one WCM Pillar as assigned.
- MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED •Requires a high school diploma or GED. •Two to five (2-5) years of professional experience with such as automated control systems, safety qualifications, and professional industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- PREFERRED OR DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS •Associate degree program in electrical related field, or completion of Registered Electrical Apprenticeship Training Program •Experience with Allen Bradly electrical components and PLC control systems •Familiarity with Lean/WCM principles and practices •Demonstrated proficiency in Safety programs to include but not limited to: Lockout/Tagout, Permit to Work, Confined Space, Electrical Work, Working at Heights
