- DBT-PTSD Specialists employ licensed mental health therapists who have a background in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and who demonstrate confidence in working with clients with borderline personality disorder, self-harm and destructive behaviors, and suicidal ideation.
- Ideally, this individual has had exposure to other trauma modalities such as EMDR, ART (accelerated resolution therapy), AIR (adaptive internal relational) Network, Prolonged Exposure, or Somatic Experiencing.
- Demonstrate skill in documentation that meets all regulatory and DBT-PTSD standards.
- Be a part of the DBT Team according to the guidelines outlined as a state-certified IOP DBT clinic (program)
- Fully licensed as a clinical mental health professional in Minnesota (LCPC, LPC, LMFT, or LMHC)
