- Our client, a prominent global law firm, is currently seeking an immigration paralegal to join their Global Mobility & Migration practice group in the Chicago or Washington DC office.
- The paralegal will assist with preparing US employment-based, non-immigrant, and some immigrant visa filings to the US Department of Labor, US Citizenship and Immigration Services, US Department of State, and US Customs and Border Protection.
- The paralegal will also be responsible for: compiling immigration eligibility documents; analyzing potential immigration benefits including H-1B and L-1 visa processing; drafting PERM Labor Certification advertisement text, prevailing wage determinations, recruitment documents, and PERM applications; meticulously tracking timelines of applications, filing deadlines, and visa expiration dates; and more!
- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with solid academic credentials and a minimum of one year of relevant experience in high-volume US visa processing, including primarily H-1B and L-1 visa processing, as well as senior executive cases and some employment-based permanent residence.
- Candidates must possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer service skills.
