- Title: Image Scientist - Journeyman KBR is seeking a Image Scientist to support government customers in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The Image Scientist (Journeyman) provides expertise in imagery science, imagery analysis, and photogrammetry that enables the detailed technical analysis of GEOINT product quality.
- Provide image processing algorithm validation and verification in support of GEOINT product quality assessments or ad hoc customer requests.
- Provide imagery science services and analysis in support of GEOINT product quality assessments for the full range of traditional and non-traditional imaging systems, products, and data formats; sensor fidelity assessment, pixel registration assessment, Tonal Transfer Curve assessments, Relative Edge Response assessment, MTF and Signal to Noise Ratio assessment, and other product quality parameters.
- Provide imagery analyst services in support of GEOINT product quality assessment planning, execution, and results analysis; imagery review, artifact analysis, NIIRS evaluations (absolute NIIRS, delta NIIRS, and ENS NIIRS evaluations), display performance assessments, etc.
- Required Education, Experience, & Skills : A minimum of 3 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science degree in image science, remote sensing, earth science, physical science, engineering, or similar engineering/science field.
