- Western Technologies is a 60-years young consulting firm offering professional services in the southwestern United States in the fields of geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering, construction materials engineering and testing, nondestructive testing and welding inspection.
- We have an immediate full-time opportunity for an experienced ICC Special Inspector in our Ft. Mohave, Arizona office.
- Ideal Candidate will have experience performing construction testing and inspection of soil, concrete, masonry, and /or steel with ICC certifications in reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete, structural masonry, structural steel and or spray-applied fireproofing.
- Routine duties include on site observations/inspections to confirm compliance with the local building codes and project contract documents, collecting samples, performing specific QA/QC tests on construction materials and building components per ASTM, ACI, etc., standards, and compiling detailed records of observations, inspections and test results.
- Work is generally performed unsupervised (i.e., employee is in the field as the Company's representative) but under the direction of a Professional Engineer or Project Manager.
