Upstate Spray Foam Insulation (USFI) is looking for Heat Pump Technicians! In Spring 2023 we add Heat Pump Sales and Service to our business and it has taken off like a rocket-ship! We install industry leading MITSUBISHI Heat Pumps and provide our customers with all of the rebates/incentives that come with it! The demand is here and we are looking to add to our team to meet the demand from our customers!
We are searching for applicants who consider themselves go-getters. The ideal applicant should be dependable, ambitious, have a positive mindset, and have at least two years HVAC related experience. Applicants must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
The job would require a daily commute to our West Winfield (NY) location
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Removing old systems/installing new systems
· Performing routine maintenance i.e., Clean and tune
· Communicating well with customers
· Ordering and maintaining equipment
· Meeting local HVAC codes
· Proficiency with propane, oil, and natural gas systems a plus!
· Crawling and working in confined spaces.
· Pushing/pulling, carrying equipment, bending, turning, and kneeling.
· Use Hand Tools and Power Tools.
Applicants must have:
· 2 Years minimum HVAC experience
· VALID driver’s license
· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
· Be able to lift 50lbs
· Be able to sit and stand for extended periods.
