- Coordinates employee benefits programs for approximately 500 employees including medical, dental, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, Retirement Plan 401(k), section 125 cafeteria plan, HRA, FSA, COBRA, FMLA, voluntary benefits, EAP, worker's compensation, employee return-to-work program and other benefits as applicable.
- Works with the President/CEO, HR Director, agent of record and other insurance representatives to research cost effective benefit options and programs design to meet the needs of our employees within ARCA's budget constraints.
- Serves as administrator for ARCA's retirement plan 401(k), working with the HR Director, ARCA's Human Resources Advisory Committee and plan provider to ensure compliance with ERISA, Pension Protection Act of 2006, and all applicable laws.
- Works with the HR Director, supervisors, Finance, Training and ARCA Leadership to ensure effective and efficient delivery of benefits to employees.
- Administers ARCA's Employee Wellness program and works closely with our vendors to ensure employees receive updates and training on Wellness initiatives.
