- The long-term goal of this project is to achieve Indigenous food sovereignty for the Native community of the greater Chicago metropolitan region, by increasing access to healthy, traditional Indigenous foods and practices that honor Indigenous relationships to food.
- This is a full-time position that reports to the Food is Medicine Project Director.
- Coordinate the incorporation of Indigenous foods into AIC senior luncheons and after school/summer programs, working with the AIC Cultural and Education Programs Director.
- Manage all AIC garden activities at the AIC Community Garden and the AIC Rooftop Garden, including planning, buildout, maintenance, and schedule.
- Recruit and manage the AIC Community Garden Core Committee of volunteers to plan and implement garden activities.
