- Serving as a subject matter expert and applying extensive knowledge of GME, MedHub, Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) requirements, and UCSF policies across 20 clinical departments and more than 200 programs.
- Implementing policies and procedures relevant to data collection and analysis, in the current GME managements system, MedHub,Serving as a principal liaison between GME program leadership and MedHub to troubleshoot issues, learn and teach new functionality, optimize program usage of MedHub, and ensure UCSF's program and institutional unique needs are met.
- The Systems Manager acts as the primary communications point for instigation, discovery, and delivery of process improvements for OGME and the GME community.
- The Systems Manager engages as a key member of the OGME team, supporting, interpreting, and assisting in the day-to-day operations for the UCSF GME educational mission.
- The Office of Graduate Medical Education (OGME) in the School of Medicine Dean's Office is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and general management of more than 220 ACGME/ABMS, non-ACGME, and non-MD residency and fellowship programs, which train approximately 1,700 trainees each year.
