- The Health Information Technology (HIT) Support Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the efficient use of all supported Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems that are utilized by the health center's medical, behavioral health, pharmacy, and dental teams.
- Provides Tier 1 support to the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Pharmacy Dispensing System (PDS), the Electronic Dental Record (EDR), and the central reporting database MARQE (Managing, Analyzing, and Reporting for Quality Engagement).
- Triage incoming Tier 1 help desk tickets and differentiate between break-fix tickets and project/new feature requests, and escalate to Tier 2 support level, if necessary.
- Assist Tier 2 support with maintenance of the EHR, optimizing system performance, and ensuring software updates & security patches are applied.
- Familiarity with (eClinicalWorks) is a plus.
