- Penn State Behrend is seeking candidates for a non-tenure line faculty position that will assume responsibilities as both the Head Coach of the men's soccer team and as a faculty member in the Kinesiology program as part of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
- As the men's soccer coach, responsibilities include recruiting, coaching, developing, motivating, and evaluating academically and athletically qualified student athletes for our NCAA Division III program, all in compliance with Penn State University policies and procedures.
- Other specific responsibilities include ensuring compliance with appropriate administrative processes pertaining to team travel, recruiting travel, budget, student-athlete eligibility and academic progress; alumni relations; and participating in fundraising and community service efforts, as appropriate and assigned.
- We have a lighted, artificial-turf field soccer and lacrosse complex, an eight-lane composite track with a separate area for field events in our track and field complex.
- Situated on a beautiful, wooded 854-acre hillside campus recognized as a U.S. arboretum, we have four academic schools (Business; Engineering; Humanities and Social Sciences; and Science); student residential living; a range of research programs and outreach centers; and a highly successful business and technology park.
