- The Hematology, Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy (HBC) Program Apheresis Quality Nurse Specialist will play a key role in developing, coordinating, managing, and executing tasks under the purview of the Quality Nurse Manager, Director of Operations, the Apheresis Medical Director, and HBC Program Medical Director.
- The HBC Apheresis Quality Nurse Specialist will work closely with the Quality Nurse Manager and with other managers from Infusion, Apheresis, Inpatient and Outpatient Clinical Units, and the Blood and Marrow Transplant Lab on projects designed to improve effectiveness or efficiency in several quality initiatives, data management, efficiency in quality operations, and to assist with development of benchmarks to better oversee the entire quality aspects of the Department.
- The Apheresis Quality Nurse Specialist will also represent HBC in interactions with the Emergency Department and other internal and external departments/stakeholders including collection device and other equipment and supply vendors.
- The Adult Hematology, Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy (HBC) program is expanding in both size and scope (cellular therapies).
- The successful candidate will use skills as an experienced and seasoned apheresis quality nurse specialist to manage, plan, and administer the data and quality of the HBC Program.
