- The Department of Pathology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center (UHCMC) and Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine is seeking a surgical pathologist with subspecialty interest in gynecologic and perinatal pathology.
- Applicants should be board-certified in AP or AP/CP with fellowship training or experience in gynecologic and perinatal pathology and qualified for an unrestricted medical license in the State of Ohio. Both recent graduates and more experienced pathologists are encouraged to apply.
- The faculty member will participate in the gynecologic and perinatal pathology subspecialty service, frozen section coverage, weekly GYN tumor board, and education of residents, fellows and medical students.
- Additional protected time is possible for applicants who will pursue a funded research program in women's health or reproductive biology, and start-up packages are available for physician-scientist candidates.
- UHCMC receives over 9000 gynecologic surgical specimens per year from over 75 hospital- and office-based clients, including complex oncology cases from five dedicated gynecologic surgical oncologists.
