- Essential Functions of the position include the following: The Grants Manager is a key member of the Finance team at Catholic Charities and serves as the financial liaison for grants and contracts.
- A primary responsibility of this role is to provide financial and compliance expertise to administrators and financial staff at all stages of the grant process, from pre-award grant proposals to post-award grant administration.
- In this role, the grant manager will interact regularly with the Director of Revenue, the Accounts Receivable Manager, Legal Department, Impact Area Controllers, and staff.
- Assumes custodial responsibility for post-award grant contract administration - e.g., monitors grant submissions, grant accounting, and grant compliance.
- Reviews general ledger and subledger grant accounting for accuracy and completeness.
