- The Grant Accountant shall have the primary responsibility of supporting the finance department by maintaining the finances for all grant-funded positions and grant services.
- The Grant Accountant will be involved in various accounting and financial aspects in addition to tracking grant-related revenue and expenses, ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, and local government grants as well as private foundation grants.
- The position will report directly to the Assistant Controller or AVP of Finance.
- Responsible for all fiscal management of grants, and contracts and reviewing and approval of all grant documents, funding requisitions, and purchase orders, establishment of new grant budgets and account numbers, monitors expenditure activities, and reviews terms and agreements following federal regulations (133, OMB).
- University, Funding Agencies, and Principal Investigator (PI).
