- The Security Industry Association (SIA) is seeking a government relations professional to support the SIA Government Relations team in the development and implementation of SIA’s public policy initiatives and related events.
- Working closely with the Senior Director of Government Relations, the Manager will have the opportunity to help shape and advocate for SIA’s policy priorities on compelling issues that impact millions of Americans each day including, but not limited to, cyber security, artificial intelligence and data privacy, school security, consumer use of technology, government procurement and homeland security.
- The Manager of Government Relations will cover a range of issues, including, but not limited to the association’s state and local policy advocacy portfolio.
- Based in Silver Spring, Maryland, the Security Industry Association (SIA) is the leading trade association for global security solution providers, with over 1,200 innovative member companies representing thousands of security leaders and experts who shape the future of the security industry.
- SIA continues to experience significant growth in membership and increased awareness of member benefits offered through government relations, standards, learning and professional development, certification, research, and strategic networking programs.
