- The primary role of a Golf Course Technician is to maintain optimal golf course conditions by completing tasks related to golf course maintenance as directed by the supervisor.
- Tasks include but are not exclusive to: operating all equipment used in daily golf course maintenance, cutting cups, raking bunkers, watering, planting, moving tee locations, and applying fertilizer and chemicals.
- Golf Course Technicians report to the Superintendent but may also report to the Foreman.
- Operate powered equipment in mowing golf course greens, tees, and fairways
- Grade soil, lay sod, and plant vegetation
