- This is a fully remote position, however, up to 90% travel is required to perform installations and/or relocation of Ipsen equipment.
- As directed and assigned by the Installation Manager, the Furnace Installation Engineer is responsible for performing hands-on technical work as well as leading site installation of Ipsen furnaces.
- Carry out primary work related to the installation of Ipsen vacuum furnaces such as bending conduit, pulling wire, terminating electrical connections, installation of pipework (black pipe, copper, PVC) for process gas and cooling fluids etc.
- Work with and alongside contractors or other Ipsen field service personnel for rigging, millwright, piping, and electrical installation tasks.
- Prior to installation review requirements of installations and understand Ipsen contractual responsibility with the Installation Manager to understand scope of the work to be done.
