- Function: Assumes a leadership role in the development of new business in the brokerage, employee benefit and fixed/variable insurance services as offered through the independent broker dealer.
- Initiates contacts for developing and closing brokerage services accounts by calling on existing bank customers identified through the internal referral program.
- During the course of these customer meetings, the Financial Planner will need to explain the bank's brokerage services, discussing the advantages of proper planning, and obtaining the appropriate amount of information regarding the prospect to make sound financial recommendations.
- Coach retail employees on the features and benefits brokerage services products provide to their customers.
- Provide employees with scripts or other means to assist them in directing referrals of existing bank customers to the Financial Planner.
