DIVIDEX Analytics provides a variety of services to inform and help large public pension funds and institutional investors manage their exposures to securities litigation as an asset class. We perform detailed financial analyses to quantify the impact of securities fraud on client portfolios and identify litigation recovery options in the US and around the world, which we publish to clients. Additionally, DIVIDEX Analytics reviews and analyses custodian and third-party class action claims filing to verify proper filing and reconcile settlement payments against entitlements. The Financial & Legal Analyst will play an integral role in supporting these services. This role combines aspects of financial, business, and legal analysis, and is an exceptional opportunity for a recent college graduate with interest in investment financial analysis and law. Job responsibilities will include helping to maintain our database of securities litigations around the world and performing numerous damages and loss analyses for client trading activity. Responsibilities also include review of case settlement plans of allocation and coding the respective rules in our calculation engine. The Financial and Legal Analyst will employ various proprietary analytical tools to perform loss analyses, evaluate results, produce reports, and update our database and client portal with the results. Using analysis results and payment data, the Financial & Legal Analyst will also perform settlement payment analyses to verify that clients were compensated properly. The Financial & Legal Analyst will also perform ad hoc analyses, support internal application development efforts, and help support other team members in their analytical work.
