- Position will provide technical support and assist U.S. Navy Fleet personnel in troubleshooting Airborne Anti-submarine Intelligence support equipment and data collection systems.
- Must have experience with network security and troubleshooting, ethernet structures, internet protocols, port assignment, addressing, IEEE General Purpose Interface Bus (GPIB), and utilizing Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments (SCPI).
- Other duties include providing engineering, technical support, calibration, and certification of project collection and lab assets; developing, documenting, and recommending techniques to calibrate project recording suites; assembling, upgrading, and/or modifying collection systems and post mission processors; integrating project hardware; and developing training, operational, and maintenance materials to support Fleet personnel.
- Must be able to interpret schematic diagrams, conduct fault isolation and repair, and have knowledge of Digital to Analog Conversion, Radio Frequency receiver systems, and modulation techniques in order to restore components to ready-for-issue condition.
- Work to be performed primarily at Government Facilitylocated on Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD.
