- The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Professor, with tenure to serve as the Scientific and Executive Director at the Magee-Womens Research Institute & Foundation (MWRIF).
- Magee-Womens Research Institute (MWRI) is an independent research Institute and one of the largest in the nation that focuses on reproductive biology, and women's and infant's health.
- Since its inception in 1992, MWRI has been a leader in funding from the National Institute of Health (NIH) and other sources.
- Reports to the Chair of OBGYN/WH and President of the Board of Directors of MWRIF to align MWRIF's research agenda with the Department of OBGYN/WH and UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital clinical program strategies.
- Cultivate increased research funding for the Institute, including stewardship of applications for center grants, program project grants, training grants and identification of funding streams from alternative funders including Department of Defense, USAID, National Science Foundation, industry partners, and foundations.
