- The manager plans, directs and manages operations of the agency including 24/7 Facility Operations, Maintenance and Custodial Services to ensure effective and efficient operations, high quality service and optimal performance in accordance with agency mission.
- Oversee daily facility operations, which includes problem-solving and establishing priorities.
- Manage monthly building inspection of all agency buildings as required by federal, state, and local laws and regulations and the requirements of contracts.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the crafts and trades used in institutional maintenance, construction, and repair work; electrical, plumbing, heating and ventilation systems, carpentry, lighting, painting, construction, welding, masonry, floor covering, and ceilings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions associated with the mechanical and building trades as well as knowledge of local fire safety requirements and operation of fire sprinkler systems.
