- This position will also oversee divisional emergency preparedness in partnership with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) support, including updates and utilization of the Divisional Integrated Safety Management Plan.
- Upon designation, acts on behalf of the Facilities Division Director, as needed.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with proven experience managing complex budgets, and strategic planning by developing and implementing plans and strategies that foster a workplace culture that supports the Lab's Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accountability (IDEA) Principles, Stewardship Values, and Safety priorities.
- Robust business management experience, including work control, asset and facility management, utility operations and maintenance, workforce management/labor relations, and health/safety management as well as in-depth knowledge and understanding of safety culture.
- The Facilities Division Deputy Director is a career position that is appointed by and serves at the discretion of the Laboratory Director, and this appointment is at-will and may be terminated at any time with or without cause.
