- Requires the cleaning of cadmium, copper, tin, and other electro-plating of missile, other products, test equipment and tooling parts by electrolytic processes.
- Operates sandblaster or tumble blast equipment for removal of scale, flux, corrosion and dirt from material or parts.
- Applies carbon fiber material in the fabrication of composite structures.
- To plan, setup and operate various ablative processing equipment, such as presses, tape-wrapper, hydroclaves, autoclaves, bonding and molding equipment; and to make difficult layouts without the aid of templates to produce production and other parts including prototype using a variety of materials, such as ablatives, plastics, foams, resins, rubber, felts, as well as ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
- Must have the ability to work 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or "3/12 Weekend" shifts as required in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement between Lockheed Martin and the UAW.
