We are Wausau’s top-rated handyman business, bringing helpful to Greater Wausau area homes since 2021. Our mission is to continue the premium customer experience found in Ace Hardware stores to our customers’ homes by helping with their home improvement needs. Job Summary: As a full-time Craftsperson, you visit Wausau and surrounding area homes, providing quality craftsmanship and friendly customer service. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Confirm customer appointments and arrive at homes on-time </li><li>Estimate scope of work and communicate to customer for approval</li><li>Provide quality, warrantied craftsmanship </li><li>Maintain a clean and tidy workspace</li><li>Ensure customer satisfaction and collect payment</li><li>Partner with office team members to provide a superior customer experience </li></ul>Basic Qualifications: <ul><li>7+ years of experience as a carpenter, handyman, and/or tradesperson</li><li>Multi-skilled in carpentry, tiling, painting, drywall, and light plumbing and electrical</li><li>Great attitude with ability to communicate effectively with customers team members</li><li>Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking skills</li><li>Comfortable invoicing customers and taking payments</li><li>Proficient at using email and smart phone to manage work assignments</li><li>Own a standard set of carpentry tools</li><li>Ability to pass a drug test and background check </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>Customer service experience</li><li>Project management skills</li><li>Management and leadership skills</li><li>Experience as a trainer</li><li>Estimation skills</li><li>Home inspection experience</li><li>Strong documentation skills</li><li>Tile installation and finish carpentry skills </li></ul>Job Type: Monday through Friday with protected days off Saturday and Sunday.
