- With Louisiana’s abundant resources—including expansive production facilities and transportation infrastructure, global ports, agricultural feedstocks, unique geology for CO₂ sequestration and hydrogen storage, well-capitalized industry, and generations of workers trained in process technology—no state is better positioned to lead the future use of energy.
- As such, LSU seeks an innovative and experienced Director to lead the newly created Future Use of Energy in Louisiana (FUEL) Partnership, which will play a vital role in Louisiana’s energy future through the advancement of research, workforce, and technology commercialization across the state.
- establish a nested mentor program for college, high school, and middle school students to encourage STEM education
- Serve as spokesperson representing LSU and the FUEL Partnership as a liaison with public sector agencies, government officials, non-governmental organizations, industry, and the public to communicate the impact of the FUEL Partnership (R&D, Workforce, Technology Commercialization, etc.)
- Preferred Certifications/Licenses: Professional Engineer, Professional Geoscientist, or comparable licensing.
