- The Executive Director oversees all Housing Authority functions and programs.
- Reporting to the Board of Commissioners, the Executive Director is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, managing, and coordinating all phases of the housing authority's programs including, but not limited to, Daily Administrative Services, Finance and Budget Preparation, Procurement and Contract Review, Public Housing Occupancy, Management and Resident Relations, Housing Choice Voucher Program, Maintenance Services, Resident Selection and Resident Services.
- Oversees affordable housing development and asset management initiatives of the Authority; and identifies potential new initiatives and partnerships to build a better community and generate revenue for the purpose of enhancing the original vision, mission, and goals of the Authority.
- Manages and directs all functions of the Housing Authority.
- The Executive Director is entrusted with authority to carry out policies, direct, and supervise the staff, and propose any changes in the organization or staff procedure to the best interest and development of the Housing Authority's programs.
