- About the Indiana Department of Administration (IDOA): IDOA centrally manages activities relating to state purchasing, the vehicle fleet, state travel, real estate leases, property disposition, and the Government Center Campus, among others.
- A Day in the Life: The essential functions of this role are as follows: Perform repairs, replacement, or welding in both the field and shop settings on cars, light trucks, heavy duty trucks, and heavy equipment (e.g. asphalt paver, asphalt mills, rollers, skid steers, attachments, tractors and snow trucks etc
- Snow removal when necessary and other related duties as required (e.g., keep garage area, equipment, and tools clean and orderly, mow grass, operate snowplow, tow truck or other equipment, repair mowers, sharpen mower blades, pump gasoline and diesel fuel, and maintain daily records of same).
- Attend appropriate training school, safety meetings, mechanic meetings, or related meetings.
- What You'll Need for Success: You must meet the following requirement to be considered for employment: Required High School Diploma or High School Equivalent (HSE) Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in hydraulic maintenance, diagnostics, and repair.
