- WESis seeking a highly motivated environmental planner intern in our Sacramento, CA office to support our Entitlementand Ecology teams in the development of mitigation projects.
- Theintern will work alongside experienced planners, habitat designers, ecologists,land managers, and GIS analysts to assist in the development of mitigationprojects.
- The intern will have exposure to and gain experience with varioustechnical reports; CEQA documentation; local, state, and federal permitting requirementsand application processes; regional conservation programs; wildlife and plantecology; and GIS methods and tools.
- Theintern will also have opportunities to visit existing and proposed mitigationsites, conduct biological surveys, and attend project meetings to better understandthe planning, implementation, and long-term stewardship of our mitigationprojects.
