- This will be accomplished by inspection, monitoring, hazard assessment, employee involvement, accountability, hazard abatement, hazard management and meeting pertinent laws, regulations and policies.
- Assist in the management of hazardous material and waste (solid, chemical, medical, animal carcass) to include, but not limited to, labeling, collecting, packaging, storage, disposal, recycling and redistribution.
- Assist in confined space program to include, but not limited to, training, identifying and labeling of confined space and confined space rescue.
- Assist in the training of staff in the proper methods of hazardous materials handling, waste disposal, lock out/tag out, confined space, fire safety, gas cylinder, ergonomics.
- Assist the Fire Marshal in prevention program and maintenance of fire equipment.
