- The Environmental Health and Safety Manager (EHS) is responsible for EHS assessments concentrating on special focus areas like machine safeguarding, hand protection, lockout/tagout (LOTO), management of contractors, risk assessments (chemical & physical hazards).
- Credentials as a Registered Environmental Manager [REM], Certified Environmental Auditor [CEA], Certified Industrial Hygienist [CIH], Certified Safety Professional [CSP], and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager [CHMM] are preferred.
- Certified OSHA trainer [e.g. 10 Hrs. or 30 Hrs.] is desirable
- Ensures company’s compliance with Local and Federal Safety, Health and Environmental Regulations, such as OSHA, USDA, EPA, WSI and other agencies with jurisdiction.
- Develops and implements Environmental, Health, Safety and Security strategies and action plans that ensure plant and corporate sustainable development.
