- Under general supervision of a professional engineer, performs engineering planning, design, construction, maintenance and operational duties for transportation and utility infrastructure in the right of way, water and wastewater treatment plant facilities and systems, as well as environmental and landfill engineering functions.
- Prepares and reviews engineering plans and designs for bridges, roadways, utilities, water treatment plant facilities and systems, and wastewater treatment plant facilities systems, as well as environmental and landfill engineering functions
- Position assignment at the Division of Environmental Servicesrequires graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in environmental, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related area or be enrolled in the last semester of an accredited Civil, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering Program.
