- This includes a diesel powered 24 inch cutter head dredge, pile driver, and miscellaneous workboats.
- 20% Dredge Operations Manages operations of and direct supervision of a qualified and U.S.C.G. licensed Dredge Captain and the indirect supervision of three U.S.C.G. licensed Marine Operators and one Dredge Chief (marine) Engineer.
- Daily supervision and management of work planning, OT, berthing/ vessel traffic coordination and constant review of sounding inspection data are required to ensure the Dredge Operation is being conducted in the most efficient manner as possible while also assuring that the operation is meeting the needs of the Port, tenants and various shipping lines.
- 20% Pile Driving/ Fendering Operations Manages operations of and direct supervision of a pile driver and associated crew, including direct supervision of a Port Facility Maintenance Manager.
- These responsibilities require expertise in the areas of civil and mechanical engineering; including but not limited to soil mechanics, hydraulics, fluid mechanics, dredging technology, marine propulsion engineering, and materials science.
