- The Emergency Preparedness Coordinator serves as co-chair and clinical leader of the Emergency Preparedness Sub-Committee.
- This job develops and implements training for staff, patients, and visitors to include all areas of the organization including clinics and ambulatory care sites.
- This job oversees Emergency Preparedness planning for VCUHS clinics and ensures that all hazard vulnerability analysis are done to fulfill all Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organization (JCAHO) standards.
- Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: NA Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: NA Experience REQUIRED: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a hospital setting or a setting where emergency management principles are employed (prehospital care, state or local emergency management, etc.)
